This article explains the settings necessary when sending out email programs to make sure emails get received by most common email clients.
From Settings > Email Addresses you can do following settings:
- Email Sender Name.
- Email Sender Address.
Example 1 - Leadsius email program with SPF and DKIM
Depending on what kind of email system you use the reception of the email will look differently. Below is an example of a Leadsius email program opened in Gmail:
Note that the Email Sender Address and Email Sender Signature are the same.
We (Leadsius) have done the necessary technical settings (SPF and DKIM), to ensure the receiving e-mail client does not classify the campaign as spam.
Example 2 - Email program WITHOUT SPF and DKIM
Below is an example of an email program where SPF and DKIM have not been implemented:
In the above example you can see that the Email Sender Address differs from the Email Sender Signature. Different email providers have different rules. For the most part, Hotmail does not accept emails where Email Sender Address differs from the Email Sender Signature.
In order to improve the email delivery rate, the Email Sender Address should be the same as the Email Sender Signature (see Example 1 above). We recommend two alternatives:
Create the Email Sender Address by using the Leadsius-approved domain lsemail.com (e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org).
Create the Email Sender Address using your own domain (e.g. email@example.com). In this case, make sure to create the necessarry SPF and DKIM record and point to our servers, to make sure your emails get received. Please note, this feature requieres Leadsius Professional subscription.
For either of the two alternatives, please submit a support ticket and we will help you to get started.
